The art of Vadim Belousov is barely perceptible strangely familiar world, world of silence and sounds. It shows the author’s inner world, where, as in the temple, millions of mosaics merge into the light, which is impossible to see without blinking, in other words – just by a normal vision. The universe of the artist creates new images and faces. In “Laughing” we see a shadow, the reflections of a person with accidental or random guests in the pictures. Silhouettes filled with radiance – it is the canvas ‘Melancholy’. Something bathed in a light – the “Faces.” The most powerful of the works of this period are definitely the works on evangelical themes: images of the crucifixion, removing from the Cross. It’s a kind of culmination of the period of the artist, and it is a new beginning …
